Hi, I’m Dennis. I get it, because I live it.

A late-diagnosed autistic ADHDer who rebuilt a life that finally fits, in the middle of burnout, while holding down a career. Now I help other late-diagnosed adults do the same.

Dennis Liebenberg, neurodivergent coach

I spent years being good at coping. I had no idea what living felt like.

For most of my life I was the reliable one. The one who held it together at work, answered every message, never let the mask slip. It worked, right up until it didn’t. Burnout didn’t arrive as a dramatic collapse. It arrived as a slow flattening, where every evening was spent recovering from the day, and there was nothing left over for the life I was supposedly working toward.

My diagnosis came in adulthood, later than it should have, and it reframed everything. The exhaustion wasn’t weakness. The sensory overwhelm wasn’t me being difficult. The years of forcing myself into spaces that were never built for me had a name, and a cost. There was relief in that. There was also grief for the years I’d spent apologising for how my brain works.

What pulled me through wasn’t a productivity system or a list of life hacks. It was slowly learning to design a life around how I actually function, instead of how I thought I was supposed to. Less masking. More honesty about what drains me and what doesn’t. I got to the other side without quitting my job, and without becoming someone else.

“I build the coaching around how you actually think.”

That experience is why I trained as a coach, to sit alongside people while they figure out a plan that actually fits them. I’m an ICF-credentialed coach and a Certified Neurodiversity Coach (CR&W NDC), and I’m autistic and ADHD myself. The combination matters: you don’t have to translate your experience for me first.

Coaching with me is unhurried, plain-spoken, and yours to shape. If something clinical comes up, part of doing this properly is referring out to the right person. Everything else, we get to work on together.

What you can expect from me

No fixing, no fad systems

You’re not a problem to solve. We build tools and environments that fit how you already think, not strategies that fight it.

You set the format and pace

Video, voice-only, voice notes, or text. Cameras optional, always. We move at the speed your nervous system allows.

Lived experience, not theory

I’ve walked the burnout, the late diagnosis, the unmasking. You won’t have to explain what it feels like from scratch.

Honest about boundaries

This is coaching, not therapy. Where something clinical comes up, I’ll say so and help you find the right person for it.
